Helpful staff, a pleasant vibe, and a breathtaking location – nothing the hotel could control detracted from the stay.

The Full Scottish breakfast was amazing, and the bar staff were very friendly with a solid selection of beers, whiskey, and gin.

The welcome was incredibly warm, the dog‑friendly setup was spot on, the food was delicious, and every staff member delivered top‑class service, though the bedroom door wouldn’t close unless pushed hard – the spring mechanism seems faulty.

The staff were very friendly, the food was good and reasonably priced, and the island‑exploring location was great; the only drawback was our room – it was small, advertised as a sea view, and the window offered a tiny glimpse of the sea, so next time we’ll try for a slightly larger room.
