The manager was lovely, hospitable & great host, and the bed was very comfortable with a nice shower – exactly what we needed for a short stay. It could have been a little cleaner or maybe an update to the rooms was needed.

The place is in a killer spot and the house itself is gorgeous, but the mattress? Not so great. You’ll get a good view and a pretty room, but you might wake up sore.

We never actually stayed at the motel because they moved us to the next door spot. That place was kinda old and not the cleanest, but it was fine for a single night. I probably wouldn’t book it again.

It felt like home right away, and the owner was super welcoming. He even upgraded us to La Maison next door, which had great colors and a lot of character. The room was quiet, spotless, and perfect for a good night's sleep.

The staff were friendly and the location is solid, though it was a bit confusing at first since one guy runs two hotels in separate buildings. It seemed like he was the only one in charge, so things took a while to get done. Breakfast was included but the plastic bread, vegemite, and jam in single‑use containers were underwhelming, and the coffee was darker than my mood.
