The room was comfortable, a decent size, and had a fridge with modern decor that looked recently renovated; however, no cleaners arrived during my two‑week stay, the bathroom and kitchen bins overflowed, I was charged £55 per night—more than some city centre hotels—yet there was no housekeeping, no toilet rolls, and the location was on Birmingham’s outskirts; there were no sockets near the bed, the main door was constantly left unlocked by others, the room was advertised as a studio but I booked it thinking it would be en‑suite, only to find it wasn’t.

The decor was modern and comfortable with a fridge in the room, but I was charged £55 per night for a place not even in the city centre, where toilet rolls weren’t provided—these are hotel rates; even in the city centre you can find cheaper hotels with daily housekeeping; the room was advertised as en‑suite but it wasn’t; I was told there would be toilet rolls in the kitchen cupboard under the sink, but there were none, and I was told they provide one toilet roll on the first day, yet there was nothing even then, so I had to buy my own; the kitchen and bathroom bins were overflowing and never emptied during the week and a half I was there.
