I liked the Arran toiletries and the quiet room. The waitress was good at the Walton bar. I had asked for a wake‑up call, which was important, but it never happened. The food was good at the Waltons bar, but there were long waits even for just banana splits.

The health club was solid, though the pool temperature was a touch low but still usable, and the dinner menu was somewhat limited, yet the dishes we ordered were well cooked and reasonably priced.
