We especially appreciated being able to store our bicycles inside the building. The room key and lock were troublesome; you couldn't just drop the key into the lock and turn it—doing so required significant time and effort, and it felt like the lock was getting damaged.

The cleaning staff were very attentive; they contacted us because we had forgotten two chargers—thanks again! Check‑in was easy with a code, and the place was perfectly positioned for our trip to Dresden. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken, so we had to climb to the top floor. We also couldn't use the balcony because the door was broken and bolted shut.

Access was simple and the price‑to‑value ratio was good. On the first evening, there was no hot water in the shower, and a foul smell of cooking oil filled the hallway and stairwell.

I arrived in Dresden at 5:30 am, but the check‑in window was only from 16:00 to 19:00, which was inconvenient. The room was clean and very cozy, spacious enough for three people, and it came with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and a kitchen area. The safe, however, didn’t work.

I stayed on the 4th floor and found that the elevator was out of order; we were told it was broken, but we weren’t informed before booking. The place feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel, the building looks like an old inn, has no reception, and during our three‑day stay we didn’t see any staff. The room and the whole building were quite dirty. The location was great because tram line 4 runs right next to the property, taking you to the old town in 10 minutes and to the new town train station in 5 minutes.
