The location and ambience were great, and everything else was fine.

It was cozy and welcoming and felt luxurious. We didn’t even want to leave for dinner; we just wanted to stay in and enjoy it.

I loved the Victorian suite, the gorgeous key set, the stylish upmarket vibe, the comfy huge bed, the great view, and the delightful chocolates on arrival. The self‑contained accommodation had its own microwave and a basic complimentary breakfast. I really enjoyed myself in Olinda, and thanks to The Loft for making my stay easier 🌈. Unfortunately there was no hot breakfast or chef on site, no restaurant, bar, or pool, and I was disappointed that I couldn’t have breakfast in bed. Netflix was only available if you paid for it. The room was supposedly soundproof, but it wasn’t—I could hear everything. After a shower, there was a rustic smell, like mold, that was very distinctive.
The location was good, the room was spacious, and the TV offered a very wide selection of shows. The breakfast, however, was overly basic.

When I arrived the room was warm and the gas log fire was already running. Booking was easy and the staff were friendly, and although the room was small it was lovely. The location was wonderful for exploring the area. The TV wasn’t a smart one, so I couldn’t stream from my phone, and with the weather the station reception kept buffering, but it was still great for reading and chilling.
