The area is absolutely stunning. The owner and staff are kind. The welcome was lovely with homemade coconuts. Everything was clean. It’s quiet and secluded, the grounds feel like a park. Nearby is a restaurant with great food. The bathroom décor is funny. Nothing negative. Everything was great. It isn’t a typical hotel style, it’s free and amazing, natural.

“Won’t recommend to female solo travelers and during the off season. Not very clean, many bugs.”

I was close to the beach. I arrived late at night, drunk, and an old man with a flashlight opened the gate. He didn’t say hello but made a gesture to follow me, which felt unwelcoming and a bit creepy. The whole area was empty, there were many ants and bugs in the room and the sheets were dirty. Cleanliness isn’t my biggest concern, but everything felt off. I didn’t stay the night and asked for a refund. I don’t recommend it for solo female travelers or during the off season.

“Naturnah”

The silence, isolation, and proximity to the beach are simply dreamy. For nature lovers it’s a must‑visit. I’m happy to walk the 8 km to Pottuvil for it.

After my reservation was accepted, I arrived at the door and no one answered; the hotel was closed. It was a bad experience because the hotel is far from town and it was night.

The location is in a terrible area, no bed tea, no glass of water to drink, no office, only one watchman, and I had to walk more than 1 km to find a shop, which is very expensive for food. Trishaw drivers charge huge amounts. My advice is not to choose these areas lodge… I can’t say it’s a HOTEL.
