The surrounding facilities are plentiful—supermarkets, restaurants, and many Chinese shops in Richmond. There’s a free airport shuttle, so a layover night is convenient. The hotel itself is a bit old; on the night we stayed, the elevator was still being replaced, which was noisy and a bit dirty. Soundproofing is weak, especially in the corridors. The breakfast isn’t very tasty, and it’s pricey, so the value isn’t great.

We liked the location because we could stroll along the water, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The airport shuttle was free, but it was farther from the airport than I had expected.
