Close to the city, and I love the curtains that run from the bed sides to block out light.

The location, staff, and cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms were great. The only downside was the Italian breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I met many nice guests. The place itself is very nice and has character; the porch, in particular, is great for sitting in the evening. The location was also very convenient, close to Brignole train station.

It’s affordable and late check‑in is available. It was mediocre; it’s only suitable for 1‑2 nights at most. The proximity to Brignole train station is a plus. I wasn’t prepared to set up my own bed, which caught me off guard. Breakfast is also a “self‑service” style; there’s no coffee machine, so you have to brew your own on the kitchen stove. The balcony? It doesn’t look like that in real life.

Central hostel, five minutes on foot from Brignole station in Genoa, close to the metro and bus stops. For those who want it, Boccadasse is reachable in 20 minutes and the Genoa beaches in 15. The hostel is in a historic building, even the elevator is charming. The only rule is a maximum age limit of 45.
