The buffet area, the spa area, the location, coffee at the hotel bar – all good. Sometimes there were construction noises, and the rooms aren’t fully sound‑proof, so you can hear the chairs being moved on the upper floor.

The room was roomy and well‑finished, breakfast had a wide selection and tasted good. The spot was great, within walking distance of several bars and restaurants, including the Cave Bar, and just a short Uber ride to the medieval city centre. The bed could have been cozier, and although the bathroom was updated and nice, it lacked enough shelving or counter space for toiletries and cosmetics.

The price is too high for a hotel of this age. The room has a strange smell, which is inappropriate for today’s standards; overall the price‑to‑quality ratio is off. The room is small, the smell is bad, it’s cramped, some lights don’t work, the minibar is empty, and I wouldn’t return for this money.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely part of Dubrovnik. The pool was amazing with plenty of sun beds, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot to relax whenever we wanted while exploring. The staff were very helpful, explained the best ways to get around Dubrovnik and the specific things we were planning, upgraded us to a lovely sea‑view room, helped with printing vouchers, and basically nothing was too much trouble. It was great.
