The spot is well‑located, yet the road is noisy. A loose manhole cover in the street gets hit by every vehicle.

The hotel sits close to Oxford’s centre, the room was spacious, and the staff were very friendly, but the noise from Oranges and Lemons across the road was loud in the evenings.

I found a comfortable, relatively roomy room at a good price in a central spot, and parking was available. We were greeted warmly and could settle in at our own pace, but the pillows were hard and we didn’t sleep well; the street can be a bit noisy, though secondary glazing helped a lot.

The place was comfortable and clean, though the internet sometimes had issues but worked most of the time; the staff were very helpful in fixing it quickly.

The room was cold and noisy, the pub/hotel offered no food, no decent beer, and no WiFi. The pillows were dirty and the towels were a dull grey. We were charged £15 per day to park but never received the entry code.
