“Ben attrezzato, pulito e organizzato”

I was very comfortable here. Because I had to go to a nearby wedding, the location was perfect for me. The room was immaculate and had air conditioning; the bathroom was very spacious with towels and shower products. The breakfast was very plentiful, the owner was very kind and helpful, and there was parking right in front of the entrance. Nothing to complain about, everything was great!

“BUONO”

We happened to find Garoch on Booking and, as soon as we arrived, the exterior didn’t give us a good first impression, especially the building’s appearance. However, once inside, our perception changed dramatically. The owner, a very friendly and helpful person, greeted us, showed us the room and explained everything we needed to know. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, but above all it was very clean. Cleanliness is a key factor for us and the first thing we look for when choosing a place, and in this regard we were fully satisfied. With a small price increase we also chose a room with a private balcony, complete with a table and chairs, which we really appreciated. Another strong point was definitely the breakfast, excellent and genuine, served by the owner, a very courteous, elegant and refined lady, who made our breakfast even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience was absolutely positive. Don’t let the building’s first impression hold you back: the hospitality, the cleanliness, the room space and the quality of the breakfast are definitely what we liked most. On the downside, the furniture feels a bit dated and, in some cases, seems arranged without a real thread. We think that if this aspect were given more care, the environment would gain a lot, just a few adjustments to give it more freshness and make the spaces more harmonious and welcoming. The bathroom, in our opinion, could also be improved, especially the shower and the dispenser, which didn’t seem very functional. Another thing we noticed is that the surrounding area is a bit run-down and poorly maintained in some spots. On the contrary, we found Acqui Terme very pleasant, about 7 km from the B&B: it seemed a more cared‑for and enjoyable place compared to Strevi, where we were staying. Overall, we think that with more attention to the furnishings and the care of the surroundings, Garoch could gain a lot of charm and become even more pleasant and welcoming!

“Camera ampia, pulita, aria condizionata, ottima colazione”

The location was perfect for our needs and to explore the area, in a very quiet and silent setting; the double room was spotless and cozy, with a large bed and a very comfortable mattress. The bathroom was spacious and had everything needed. A fridge was available if we needed it. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The host’s welcome was optimal and the breakfast was very genuine, both sweet and savory (we only had the sweet, the brioche and the hazelnut cake were truly excellent!!!). We’ll definitely come back if we ever return to the area! The only suggestion would be to provide at least one free water bottle in the room, in addition to the paid minibar.
