The room was clean with air conditioning, the bedding was clean, the mattresses were firm as I liked them but that might not suit those who want a softer bed; there were two big problems: first, there were many ants and I had to sleep with earplugs so they wouldn’t crawl into my ears, second, instead of hot water there was only warm (just above room temperature) so I couldn’t take a shower; the Wi‑Fi was weak in my room because it was far from the router near the front desk, on the day of arrival and departure the terminal didn’t work and I was asked to pay in cash, and I was charged a slightly higher amount for the room than what was listed in the booking.

The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast tasted great, and the laundry cost 10,000 SMM per item; I had it done around noon and picked it up the next morning. The local shopkeeper was also kind, so I’m glad I chose this inn. However, there were ants on the bed—probably about ten of them. Maybe it’s because the room is on the first floor. I stayed alone, so I used the bed that had no ants. The return path from the tourist spots to the inn was a bit dark and gave me a little scare, but nearby hostels seemed just as dim on the way back.
