Hotel Tenjin Place, Fukuoka, is a convenient base, 5 minutes' walk from Yakuin Subway Station. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with carpeted floors, en-suite bathrooms, wired internet, flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and electric kettles. Guests access 4 train/subway stations and 3 lines, including the Airport Line, within 10 minutes. The Tenjin shopping area is a 6-minute walk away.

The four‑person room offered enough space to open four suitcases at once; the room was clean, comfortable and odor‑free, and the air‑conditioning ran quietly. On the ground floor there was a minibar where, until 10 pm each evening, we could enjoy free snacks, especially the delicious bread that the kids loved. The walk to Tenjin‑Minami subway station took about 10 minutes, which we could tolerate; the only drawback was the lack of a laundry room, making long stays inconvenient for washing clothes.

All the staff were courteous and it was appreciated; complimentary drinks and sweets were provided, and after dinner we could unwind in the room with a beverage or fruit punch. The facilities were clean and satisfactory.

I stayed in a clean place and the staff were friendly, but I wish there had been a private space to talk in the lobby since I was traveling for work to Fukuoka.

The breakfast curry was tasty, though the hotel sits a bit off the center of Tenjin.
