“Viel Licht und viel Schatten”
The parking lot is bright and spacious. The room was modern, clean, and the bed comfortable. Since the hotel is essentially the train station building, train noise is expected; better sound insulation would still be nice. The breakfast room was bright and tidy, the buffet was clear and good. After booking, I called to add a parking spot and was told to call half an hour before arrival for a temporary garage code. They forgot to mention that on weekends between about 12 and 17 h no one is reachable. We arrived as planned around 15 h and couldn’t access the garage until we checked in. The self‑check‑in computer was complicated and slow, and the display was too small. A queue of guests was waiting to check in. I ended up helping a total of 4 guests get through the process. The carpet should be deep‑cleaned or replaced at times. The pillows were very soft. During breakfast I pointed out the empty egg container to the front‑desk staff, who apologized saying “the colleague hasn’t noticed yet” (I hadn’t seen that colleague either). After about 10 minutes, about 10 eggs were refilled and then gone again after a few minutes. When I asked the same colleague again, he said he wouldn’t add more eggs because the breakfast time would be over in 10 minutes – there were still about 15 guests eating in the room.
