The lunch was good, but there was noise at the entrance. Because the parking and the front-facing room put us near the traffic, guests talked loudly even during the day.

The room was comfortable, which is the main thing we look for. However, parking is paid while the hotel is far from Nieuwpoort’s center. The pool is small and the air feels very humid. Compared to the Ibis in Metz, it’s much more expensive. The fridge was too small and didn’t keep food cold enough.

The swimming pool was nice, but there was no kettle or drinks in the room, making it very bare. Staff were minimal, and breakfast seemed pricey for what it offered.

Our weekend was great. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good, and everything was spotless! Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely return. The only downside was that I expected more variety at breakfast—more types of sandwiches and coffee cakes.
