ONE GATE Pyramids View INN

I stayed at ONE GATE Pyramids Hotel and it was fantastic; the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and attentive, and my room offered an incredible direct view of the pyramids, making the experience even more special. Breakfast was very good, and when we missed the usual hours, the staff kindly prepared it and brought it to our balcony, showing a level of care that really mattered. The location is excellent, close to both the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, so I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Giza and would definitely return. The only downside is that the hotel does not have leisure facilities, such as a swimming pool, but I was already aware of this before booking, so it wasn’t a surprise.

The hotel is in Gizeh, about 10 minutes by car from the pyramids and 20 minutes on foot from the Grand Egyptian Museum; at first glance the façade looked pretty unremarkable and we even wondered where we had landed 😅, but once we reached the 4th floor the atmosphere changed completely: Eslam greeted us with a big smile and mango juice to welcome us 🥭. The hospitality was flawless; Eslam and his colleague (Sihed, if I’m not mistaken) were adorable, welcoming, and always available, so many thanks to them for their kindness. The room was spacious, clean, and pleasant, and room service was also very satisfactory. A few small points could be improved: our room didn’t have a terrace, and there wasn’t really a suitable space to have breakfast; we had to sit on the edge of the bed or in a chair to eat, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was decent but unfortunately quite repetitive, which is a pity when staying several days at the hotel; a bit more variety would have been appreciated. Another positive was that the hotel offered us a transfer from the airport, a thoughtful gesture that made our arrival easier. Despite these little details, we had a very good stay; the warm welcome, staff availability, and room cleanliness are real assets for this establishment. Thanks again to Eslam and the whole team ❤️

“Nice room, let down by foul smell”

The people—Eslam, Saif, etc.—were all very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the pyramid view from the room was stellar; the lift to the 4th floor served its purpose. However, there was a smell in the room that seemed to come from the AC unit, and we were asked to keep the balcony door open to dispel it, which became a pain. We stayed 3 nights and had to suffer through the smell every minute of our stay in the room, unfortunately.
