Room 208 had a sea view, but aside from that there was no reason to stay at this hotel. A woman sitting on a chair in the hallway, presenting herself as the manager, jumped on us to sell excursions and services at wildly inflated prices. When we simply asked for advice on the cost of groceries for a bajaj, we were forced to book a bajaj at a far-fetched rate. We decided to find one ourselves so they wouldn’t charge us 20 000 ar. The staff slept on the counter and didn’t even know the price of a bottle of water. We had to ask the manager, who seemed to set prices on the fly. There were many awkward moments for simple requests, advice, or even settling the final bill where we were told the restaurant was not part of the hotel and we had to pay cash for meals. Drinks could be paid by card with the room rate. The lack of professionalism was terrible. We felt like real wallets. The place is pretty clean and nice, but book your excursions elsewhere. Breakfast times were random.
