The room was nice and had everything you need, run by great people—the owner and his son are very sensible and interesting to chat with. The location is surprisingly good: on the outskirts of town but only a 10‑minute walk to the centre via a shortcut, and there’s also a shortcut walk to the beach past the padi fields, plus an old‑school local gym nearby. It’s opposite a discount superstore, and on the main road you’ll spot at least ten different local food options.

The room had working air‑conditioning and a fridge. The distance from the beach was a drawback.

“Very poor cleanliness and unprofessional staff. The only positive point was being close to eco shop and the beach.”

The location was good for the beach and stores. Cleanliness was awkward: the young staff were very disrespectful, especially toward female guests. There were no slippers in the toilet, and when asked the staff said it was a cultural thing not to wear them; they also didn’t provide hand‑washing liquid. Facilities were very poor, and the room, hallway, and mattresses were dirty.

“Good for one short night”

The staff were friendly, but the bed felt like it had exposed springs and was overall dirty; I could smell sewage from the bathroom, and the room was noisy because of the highway and a nearby mosque. There was a fridge, a mug, and a glass, but no kettle.

The staff were helpful and the location was good, yet the toilets didn’t flush properly and the bathroom was generally faulty. The blinds wouldn’t open, windows didn’t shut, so mosquitoes, ants, and flies kept coming in. The blanket provided was a single‑person fleece blanket, not suitable for two people; a sheet would have been better. Also, there’s a mosque very close by, so the call to prayer in the morning wakes you up.
