The pool was nice, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the reception area was lovely. However, the kitchen in the room wasn’t clean, two of the three doors didn’t lock, the kitchen tap leaked (which they fixed), and the bathroom vanity leaked across the floor.

The location is perfect, the beaches are quiet and pristine, and the staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much 😊

The location is close to a nice beach and you can walk into the town centre. The staff behaviour was confusing; they spoke very poorly English and laughed in a language we didn’t understand, which made us feel very uncomfortable. We were scolded like children by the front‑desk person for not showing up for breakfast one day. We had planned a safari in Udawalawe, but were shocked to find that we were locked in the hotel from 22:30 until morning with padlocks. I think that’s dangerous in case of fire, especially since no staff were on duty at night. We had to climb a wall to get out after finding a key. When we returned from the safari the staff mocked us. The room was generally clean but the price feels excessive for the country. The view is ruined by construction work that, according to comments, has been going on for a long time and is probably abandoned. The pool view in the photo isn’t what we saw. Nothing major, but the staff really made us feel very uneasy during our three days there.

Very pretty hotel, spacious suite with a terrace, staff very friendly and attentive. It’s by the sea, just a busy road to the beach. Beautiful pool. The bar was closed. In the family room the single bed was too narrow and not very comfortable.
