“10/10 - ein wahres Paradies!”

We had originally booked 2 nights, but we realised upon arrival that we definitely wanted to extend our stay. The location on the private beach with crystal‑clear water was truly enchanting. The accommodation, built by SP and Fred, features various cosy corners, a GreenHouse, modern rooms, and more, creating a great atmosphere. They welcomed us warmly and took care of us throughout our stay. We will definitely return to relax in this paradisiacal spot and enjoy SP’s tasty food <3. Nothing negative.

“A really special place, has a lot of potential but the place and people need some TLC.”

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were homemade by the house lady and were really good and fresh. The views are lovely. The owner enforces many “house rules,” which can be irritating; it feels like you’re walking on eggshells instead of being pampered. There’s a constant tension in the air. The name “ecolodge” is misleading; the place isn’t a lodge. The units are connected and lack charm. The unit shown in the Booking picture isn’t for rent. The island offers magnificent views, but the stories about plastic trash are unfortunately true, though Ecolodge has no involvement.

The owners were super kind, friendly, and incredibly welcoming and helpful! The place feels like paradise! SP cooked amazing meals—what a treat! Transfers were arranged for us and communication was great!

The EcoLodge is a small, well‑maintained spot, perfect for those seeking total relaxation and simplicity. Fred’s environmental focus shows throughout, from the property to food and drink arrangements. Because of the location, menu options are limited, but SP’s culinary talent (and more) will truly surprise you. Highly recommended! Great job! P.S.: the lodge sits in the island’s most beautiful area. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect. The island is connected by small boats, so watch out for rough seas that could affect transfers.
