The rooms were spacious and cool, and the pool was nice. However, there was no cutlery, plates, or glasses, so you can’t sip wine or eat a snack in the evening. In France, having a few wine glasses in the room is the least you can do. Breakfast only offered jam, so we had to bring our own cheese and cold cuts. Thirty chickens roam the property, but no eggs are provided, and their morning laying creates a lot of noise. The grounds feel unsafe because two slightly aggressive dogs will attack you when the owners aren’t nearby.
