Bella Vista Beach Resort Koh Lipe

The location is great—on one of the island’s most beautiful and central beaches, and right across from the hotel there are no boats that bother you while swimming. If you want a nice beach close to the center without boats in front, book this place. The beach offers loungers, umbrellas, and shade from a tree. It’s also close to most beach restaurants, the main street, supermarkets, and more. We booked a sea‑view room; there aren’t many, but those that do have a direct sea view.

“Perfect beach break”

The spot is amazing and the staff is very friendly. The rooms feel a bit worn, yet they’re always clean and offer great value.

The location is excellent and the breakfast is well organized and good. The cleanliness isn’t quite spotless, with several shortcomings.

“Très très mitigé”

We were upgraded without asking, so we were very happy about that. The rooms are old and not clean—there was a dirty sock from a previous guest under my bed. The restaurant was very disappointing, missing many items on the menu; the staff blamed it on being off‑season, which shouldn’t have been mentioned during booking. Breakfast was mediocre compared to high season. The beach was a dump! I had stayed there in 2024 during high season and wanted to return, but I’m extremely disappointed and won’t go back.

The hotel is on the beach and it’s quiet at night. The staff is friendly, and everything is clean and very nice. Breakfast is weak because of the limited selection; the scrambled eggs probably come from a mix. The plastic loungers collapse with a light touch, and folding them requires effort and ingenuity.
