The only bright spot was the dogs you could pet, but every entryway was saturated with weed odor, and the building was a sound conduit—every noise from anyone else echoed through the whole place, even the snoring from next door that seeped through the wall while I lay on the bed. The grounds looked filthy, the shower’s water pressure was practically nil, and when I checked in I was told there were no refunds and that I’d have to inspect the room before the staff began, so I knew this was going to be a rough stay.

The location was decent, but the housekeeping left a lot to be desired.

The entire property reeks of weed, with sketchy people roaming the premises day and night, broken vehicles parked in the back lot, and trash everywhere. There’s no breakfast, and the outer doors aren’t locked.

The place smells awful—thick, lingering smoke and weed that cling to everything and stay with you even when you’re away. It’s like a closed bar that’s been in use for 12 years, and the scent only gets worse.
