We spent a week at Cocoshuku in Tokyo, and the room was advertised as sound‑proof, which simply wasn’t true; the glass windows and wobbling frames let street noise flood in, making sleep impossible. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped, lacking storage and coat hooks, but towel changes and trash disposal worked flawlessly. The hotel is in a nice part of town and has a great location.

The room was quite spacious and had two toilets, but the fridge was noisy all the time and the beds were not especially comfortable.
