I liked that they changed our room facing the busy highway to a quieter one at our request, and all the equipment in the room worked. The main issue: despite confirming my card and the stated card‑payment method with a warning that cash is not accepted, I was told upon arrival that I had to pay strictly in cash 200 RON. My support contact did not help. I had to drive 11 km to an ATM to withdraw 200 lei, even at dusk in the mountains, and I paid a 15 lei withdrawal fee. In the end, to pay 200 lei I lost about 45 lei! The hotel is very old and frankly knows better times. I do not recommend staying at all. Also, to reach the town you can go by your own car or taxi, which is also inconvenient.

The spot is great for visiting Peles Castle, and the man at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel, however, had a noticeable cigarette smell everywhere despite the no‑smoking sign, and the building looks very old.

The room was very clean and the staff were kind and helpful, but they only accept cash for payment.

It was quiet at night and close to restaurants and shops. The whole hotel smelled like tobacco despite the signs, and the staff smoked there. The room itself didn't smell, which was a relief. It’s next to the road, very old, but the price is reasonable.
