Located just 200 meters from St. Mark’s Square and the Ducale Palace, Locanda Correr blends 17th‑century Venetian décor with modern comforts. Air‑conditioned rooms feature minibars, free Wi‑Fi, and antique wood carvings. A 24‑hour front desk, nearby San Zaccaria vaporetto stop, and a daily continental breakfast at Hotel Castello enhance its prime, accessible appeal.

The location is great, just a 2‑minute walk from St. Mark’s Square. The rooms have an unusual antique décor, the air‑conditioning works well, and the housekeeping cleans daily. The breakfasts, however, are disappointingly sparse.

The spot is ideal and the room feels cozy. The only downside is the portable air‑conditioner, which was incredibly loud.

The room was spotless and the bathroom, though small, had been completely renovated. I could enjoy breakfast right next door at the Castello hotel, and the staff were friendly. On the flip side, the building sits on a dark, deserted street with no shops and a strong urine smell. The lobby and stairwell were unwelcoming, smelling damp and dusty. My room was very dim and tiny, with peeling wallpaper and carpeted floors. The mobile air‑conditioner was so noisy that I couldn’t sleep with it on.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and location were disappointing. A loud air‑conditioner in the room caused headaches, making it impossible to sleep. The room was in a different building, so I had to keep walking to the other building to leave the key when I checked out.
