The lot is nice and large with plenty of parking. Because the buildings are old, air‑conditioning only exists in the lobby, which made the rooms unbearable during the heat wave; the portable fans provided in the rooms just circulated hot air.

Don’t spend your money here. The staff are poorly trained, the building feels run down and badly maintained, the ladies’ toilets by reception have several broken toilet seats, the garden decking wasn’t cleared for hours (which attracted wasps), and our room lacked air‑conditioning, a minibar, and Wi‑Fi. I’ve never posted a negative review before, and after contacting the CEO, Jonny Levy, to explain our disappointment I received no reply. The hotel claims 4‑star status but falls far short.

“Lovely night stay”
The hotel is gorgeous and the spot is great, though you’ll need to drive or hail a taxi to get anywhere, which is normal for Milton Keynes and didn’t bother me. The staff were wonderful, the room was huge, and breakfast was delicious; parking is free too. The only downside was that in our superior room there was no air‑conditioning, which I’d have expected given how hot it was during our visit. Otherwise, everything was fine.
