“Don't order from Room Service because it is not the hotels.”
The room was pleasant and the breakfast was good. A large flyer on the dresser in the room read “Room Service” in big letters with the hotel logo on top. We called room service, gave them our room number, and were told it would take about 45 minutes. We waited an hour and a half, wondering if they had to leave to get the chicken first. Then we received a call asking how their delivery service was, and I was shocked because we hadn’t received anything. They seemed confused, so they said they would contact the front desk. When the front desk returned, they claimed the order was sitting on the counter for a while. When my husband went down to pick it up, the desk clerk said we had ordered from an outside vendor. That was confusing because the flyer in the room made it look like it was the hotel’s own room service. I felt the flyer misrepresented the service. At checkout I told the morning desk clerk about the whole situation, and she said she could understand how it had appeared. I suggested she bring it up with management, but she said nothing else. Why didn’t the night desk tell us the food was on the counter? The food itself was good, but it wasn’t from the hotel.
