The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and the overall vibe of the place was very pleasant. Breakfast turned out to be excellent, and the location was perfect for the HYDE school. I have no major complaints, just a few notes: the room was a bit pricier than what I usually consider comfortable for a small-town hotel, though the spot was ideal. The temperature controller was tucked behind the TV, but we found it and adjusted it. I was a bit surprised that there was no daily room service for a hotel at this price point.

The breakfast selection was diverse and the staff were friendly. However, the room required some fixes—light bulbs had to be replaced and the bathroom sink was unclogged. We only received half a roll of toilet paper and had to ask for more the next day, yet housekeeping never arrived. Over our four‑day stay, the room was never serviced and we had to request towels ourselves. The walls were paper thin, letting us hear conversations from neighboring rooms. We left a day early because we were so sleep‑deprived. This was the first time we had a bad experience there, as we had always enjoyed our stays. When we checked out early and expressed our disappointment, the staff didn’t even ask about our experience—they simply wished us “Godspeed” and seemed very short‑staffeed.
