Central in the town. Busy and vibrant. Nice operatic musical show and arts and crafts fair during stay. The car parking and access to the underground car park were problematic; the underground car park was tight and had some drainage issues that caused water to fall down.

I stayed in a spot right in the middle of town, so getting around was a breeze. The breakfast, however, fell flat: the food was cold, there was no tea or coffee, and the machine was empty; when I asked, the staff just stared blankly.

Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the location was great.

The location for the opera festival was great. The room was very small and the bathroom was a little tired – discoloured grouting, chipped door paint – but the real problem was that the room wasn’t cleaned between the first and second night even though we asked at reception.
