The room was spacious and the hotel pretty, but some furnishings were a bit worn, like the sofa in the room and the doors that creaked loudly.

Our elevator was out of order, forcing us to walk a long way to our room, and the fridge was restocked only once; when we called to have it refilled and asked for chocolates my daughter wanted, the gentleman from “more experience” was very dismissive and gave poor explanations, appearing short and unhelpful.

Getting around was a breeze and the transport connections were excellent! The ceilings and exterior posts had paint peeling, and there was a bit of condensation and moisture inside the rooms, which I expected given the humidity.

Everything was nearby, the staff were great, and the kids enjoyed themselves.

Benjamin Mondragon, the receptionist at Generation Rivera Maya, scammed me by asking me to deposit two payments of 37760 into a Banamex debit account to cancel a reservation I had from 25 to 29 June, claiming he would refund what I had paid for that stay under the name Alfredo Davila Silva. In total, I paid for the reservation three times in October and November 2025, and yesterday 13 and today 14 April he said the refund would take 40 days. I have receipts for the payments. The reception staff, in collusion with accountants—one named Alejandro—seem to be extorting hotel guests. I paid 37760 for the reservation, paid another 37760 yesterday, and paid the same amount again today; I want an investigation into the staff involved in these thefts. I have all the necessary proof.
