“Payed more for less”

The location was fine and most staff members were friendly, yet there was no hot water for showers, the pool wasn’t very clean, it took forever to get the door open with the card, the traffic outside on the highway was pretty noisy, and breakfast was limited.

“Will not be back”

Breakfast, dinner, and the bar were all held in different rooms because the hotel was under construction, and I’m trying not to complain, but I wish I’d been told before booking. The hotel was indeed under construction and I wasn’t informed. The elevator was missing a wall tile, wasn’t cleaned, a kitchen knife lay on the floor in one of the elevators for two days and may still be there. Our room smelled like raw sewer; we reported it that night and maintenance came and put a chemical down the drains, but by morning the smell was still so bad that we couldn’t shower. I reported this at checkout and the front desk said they would discount the room by 50%, but I have not seen that in my bank account. The only transaction is $272.22 that was taken from our account. I booked this room for a short getaway for my husband’s birthday and was very disappointed with the outcome. I hope the Hilton follows through on the refund they promised.

“Very disappointed !”

I couldn’t locate the hotel entrance because of construction; the hotel should have sent a notice on my reservation to change the street entrance on my GPS. I drove around for 20 minutes trying to find my way into the hotel, then finally parked, got out of my car and walked to the closed entrance to read the sign on the door with the other street name to come in on!

“Reception were very welcoming and breakfast staff were keen to please with excellent breakfast.”

All staff were extremely helpful, and there was nothing negative.
