The location is right in the jungle, the wildlife and rainforest are in the area, and the grand tour with Mario through the rainforest gave us an unforgettable experience.

The location is wonderful, but there was no restaurant available at the place.

The entrance road felt like a hollow path; on the last few meters a car drove right toward us, and we were lucky it didn’t hit us. Lighting throughout the property was poor. This lodge already had its heyday and now sells what’s left as an expensive jungle lodge. The “room” only had a mosquito net; the toilet and shower were outdoors. The bed was a nightmare – old wooden slats used as a mattress support, all dark wood, and a spider had nested in the nightstand lamp. Breakfast was also very sparse.

The location is *AMAZING* for animal lovers of all kinds! We truly enjoyed meeting all of your super friendly, thoughtfully responsive, and genuinely kind staff members – Muchas Gracias to everyone!!! The food & drinks were always delicious, made with the freshest ingredients, a mix of Tico‑style comida tipica plus other tasty menu items (the ramen was a special treat). we ate so well! Nothing else to add.

The view was nice. The pool was dirty, and I think some parts of the place are not maintained. Also dinner was two empanadas for $23. Breakfast was poor.
