“Great service, clean rooms, overall great pick in Salcedo area”

The bellhop who runs the grab (the Southeast Asian version of Uber) was super helpful and guided me around, and my room was spacious with a kitchenette that I didn’t end up using because there are so many restaurants nearby. The breakfast, however, needs a lot of improvement; skip it unless you really want to eat right in the hotel in the morning, because there’s a pan de manila and a good specialty coffee shop just across the street. Also, the gym was closed during my stay—check with the hotel first, they said renovations should be complete soon.

“Always nice stay in Citadines Salcedo, but the reception desk should be better prepared and focused on guests.”

We’ve been staying at Citadines since 2017 many times, and the facilities are generally fine. The only downside was the restaurant Manifesto; as a regular guest you expect a personal welcome, but this time the receptionist seemed new and didn’t offer one, which felt off because client satisfaction matters. Fortunately, an employee recognized us immediately and helped us perfectly. The receptionist lady was insufficient, not prepared, and not focused.

“Besides the lack of pool access, it’s a great stay!”

The one‑bedroom room was spacious, but the pool was closed for renovation, and that wasn’t mentioned when I booked.
