The place was very quiet, everything was reachable, the bus stop was right nearby and, most importantly, the free bus pass for the entire Harz area meant we could go anywhere… amazing. The only downside is that it’s a hiking spot, so by 21:30‑22:00 nothing else is happening.

Great spot at the foot of the Brocken, clean room, decent breakfast, good dinner at the restaurant, and friendly staff.
