The place is well situated, 600 m from the train station and 1.5 km from the Peace Park. The large room lacks a bedside table, a luggage rack, and a clothesline. The room needs renovations, especially the bathroom where the sink is damaged. The staff are a bit rigid, more so than other Japanese hotels. The check‑in process is heavy, and the pillow is not very comfortable.

The staff were very good, but the washbasin was not cleaned and was dirty. The noise from the upper floor was bothersome.

We didn’t like anything about this hotel and we were very glad that it was only for 1 night or else we would’ve moved. This hotel is old and in need of refurbishment and total updating throughout
