The owner was friendly and the staff were quiet and kind. The shower had strong water pressure. The in‑room mirror was large and the shelving was well arranged. When I used the airport shuttle, the owner followed up via chat until I met the driver. Breakfast on the roof while watching the pyramid made me feel fantastic.

You can see the pyramid from both the roof and the room. The room was clean, cheaper than other hotels, so it felt like a good deal. Most importantly, there were staff who spoke Japanese, which gave me a lot of reassurance, and the other young staff were also very helpful.

The staff were friendly and some spoke Japanese, which made me feel secure as a Japanese guest. I liked that the elevator only worked when the key was inserted, giving me peace of mind about safety. My room had a bathtub and a view of the pyramid from the window. Breakfast was served on the rooftop, where the pyramid was also visible. I had no cash on hand, so when I paid the room with a credit card I was hit with a 3 % card fee. During the messaging exchange the quoted tour price was higher than initially stated, so I had to negotiate. I requested a late‑night airport transfer; the driver who arrived didn’t have a name placard, which delayed our meeting.

The roof that offers a view of the pyramid was usable beyond breakfast. It was close to the Giza pyramids and the Great Egyptian Museum, which was convenient for sightseeing. The breakfast served in the morning was left untouched after the night session, so it wasn’t cleaned up.

The location is great. The exterior facilities look awful.
