We found the room incredibly snug, a perfect spot to unwind and recharge, and the Inn’s rustic charm was a definite hit. Linda’s thoughtful snack extras were a nice touch. Shadowridge Ranch’s setting and facilities were ideal for our son’s and daughter‑in‑law’s wedding, and everyone praised its beauty and comfort. The only hiccup was a minor issue with controlling the AC, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The property and rooms were gorgeous and well cared for, with small touches like snacks, comforting lodging, and privacy that were all appreciated. I might have been the only guest there on a mid‑July Thursday, so it was a very pleasant and peaceful one‑night break from a Tahoe trip, and I could see myself staying a few days here.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Check‑in and check‑out were easy, and the natural beauty and history of the place are special. It will be our go‑to lodging for future visits to Placerville. Patricia is a delightful host, warm, and genuinely kind, making our visit even more enjoyable.
