“The real Khao Sok Lake experience”

Great place! We were keen to be in a plece with bamboo raft houses rather than the new modular ones there are around the lake these days, and Praiwan was exactly that! Fantastic place, beautiful, all bamboo houses, quiet and relaxing. The room was nice and comfortable and the bathroom too. Has all you need! The activities were also great and well organized, although we coudn't do the boat safari in the morning because of wheather conditions. Food was good too, not fancy but very nice. The wooden path way to the raft houses was not so well maintained and some boards wer jumping off dangerously

“Bijzondere ervaring die we niet hadden willen missen”

De locatie is echt fantastisch. Super cool dat er wilde olifanten leven in de jungle. Het zelfstandig kajakken was erg leuk, ondanks dat we pech hadden met het weer. Onze tour guide wist heel veel te vertellen en heeft echt zijn best gedaan om de ervaring voor ons ze leuk mogelijk te maken. Props daarvoor. Daarnaast was het authentiek thaise eten echt heel lekker. Boven verwachting. De accommodatie zelf (het huisje) viel een beetje tegen. Het huisje is open (zat geen glas in de ramen, kieren en spleten in de vloer) waardoor insecten makkelijk naar binnen kunnen komen. Verassend genoeg waren er geen muggen wat fijn was maar wel kakkerlakken helaas. meerdere zelfs. Daardoor niet top geslapen

Ubicación excelente, muy cerca para ir a ver la coral cave, el lugar es tan impresionante que no necesitas mucho, es una casita sencilla sin baño dentro ni a/c pero no me pareció que hubiera muchos mosquitos ni demasiado calor, el paisaje vale totalmente la pena y el recorrido para llegar ahí, si te gustan los hospedajes poco comunes de naturaleza este es increíble. En general se sentía un poco descuidado algunas cosas como que la lámpara del cuarto estaba rota (la pantalla), detalles que realmente no arruinan la experiencia pero que podrían arreglarse o renovarse fácilmente

“Tout simplement magique et à faire dans sa vie”

The setting feels like pure magic, tucked away in untouched nature where you can actually swim straight into the lake for a genuine experience, and there are kayaks you can borrow for a paddle. The food is superb, very traditional and all‑you‑can‑eat, with extra snacks and drinks available on‑site if you need them. Restrooms are shared but turnover is quick, and they provide microfiber towels; the bedding is excellent. Activities are well organized so boredom isn’t an option, and we’d suggest staying two nights to really enjoy an afternoon on the lake. We loved everything, but keep a few things in mind: there’s no daytime electricity or air‑conditioning (though you won’t miss it), watch the humidity for your belongings and the room is small, so pack a separate bag with your essentials, and bring sneakers.
