“Loved our short stay here”
I stayed at this charming hotel, enjoyed a great breakfast, and the staff were lovely. The location was perfect, and I couldn't find any faults. I only had one night, so I wish I had stayed longer!

The hotel sits in a central spot, making it easy to walk to all attractions and the waterfront. It’s a historic house that offers all the modern amenities. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the staff were amazing—so welcoming and helpful. I loved the 24‑hour hot drink self‑service, the ice and water dispenser, and the help‑yourself goodies. Breakfast was delicious, and I really enjoyed my stay! The only downside was that we had a first‑floor front room, which isn’t ideal for light‑sensitive guests because street lights stream through the blinds.

The history is cool, it’s close to everything, and the price is good. Construction around the property made it hard to get in and out of the parking lot.

The location is good, but the bed was too high and stiff, and it was very noisy if you’re on the first floor. There’s no door between rooms and the breakfast room.

The breakfast and staff were wonderful, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the upholstered chairs in the room need a deep cleaning because they were badly stained. The shower needs a bleach and scrub brush to remove all the mildew stains. We were in room 14 on the first floor of the Carriage House, and the carpeted stairs going up to the second floor need to be shampooed or replaced.
