The hotel is family‑friendly and pet‑friendly, pretty and well equipped. We found the stay very pleasant, enjoyed the spa and the outdoor pool area, and liked the food. Simple but nice hikes could be started directly from the hotel. The shower faucet was sometimes broken and the water temperature unpredictable, so I burned myself on hot water several times. One evening I couldn’t attend dinner for health reasons and politely apologized; afterwards I was no longer treated as warmly, which confused me – I would have preferred an open conversation or a check‑in on how I was feeling.
A lovely hotel with a stunning valley view. We were riding motorcycles and came in drenched from rain; the drying room was opened just for us to dry our clothes. Dinner was excellent!
“Ottimo! Ci torneremo sicuramente”
Warm and welcoming, very clean. The only drawback was the limited selection for children and the lack of sweet options at breakfast.
“南チロルで街並みと山の景色を見渡せるサウナ・プールのある贅沢な山の上のホテル”
Perched at 1,000 metres altitude, the hotel’s balcony offered not only mountain vistas but also a sweeping view over Brixen/Bressanone, and despite the high‑altitude setting the outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi made it a paradise for a Japanese bath lover like me, while my child happily splashed in both pools; the on‑site restaurant served tasty meals and the breakfast buffet was also good, so I’m sure winter would be just as enjoyable. On the downside, when the staff gave explanations in German they never made eye contact with me and only addressed my wife, which felt odd (a common issue in Italy), and I wish they would maintain eye contact with all guests regardless of language; additionally, the sauna lacked an emergency alarm button—required by German law but perhaps not by Italian regulations—yet given recent sauna accidents in Japan, installing one would be prudent.
“Molto bello. Consigliato.”
The location, rooms, bathrooms, cleanliness, professionalism, and breakfast were all great. The dinner kitchen, however, felt forced: although the buffet was excellent, plentiful, and varied, the choice to serve only very elaborate gourmet dishes (which we didn’t enjoy except on a couple of occasions) seemed odd. We’d have preferred more local dishes, but the buffet still made up for that.
