“Gern wieder”
The hotel sits in a central spot, the staff are very friendly, and the room is spacious. The bathroom isn’t modern, and Chinese taxi drivers don’t recognize it by that name.

Located at the intersection of Chang'an Avenue and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, Grand Hyatt Beijing offers easy access to Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. This 5-star hotel features 5 dining options, a resort-style indoor pool, and well-appointed guestrooms with Italian marble bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and high-rise views. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Wangfujing Subway Station and offers a fitness centre, business centre, and tour desk.

The location is excellent, early check‑in was quick, and the staff are attentive and polite. I especially want to highlight Hanna, the Russian‑speaking receptionist, who made our stay comfortable and handled any issues promptly. Victor Dumas, who worked in the lounge, also deserves mention for turning the space into a little celebration, speaking five languages and being courteous and attentive. Breakfasts are very good and the hotel is very clean. On the downside, a deposit equal to almost half of the booking amount is taken at check‑in, which isn’t disclosed anywhere and can create awkward situations if you’re short on cash; the hotel should warn guests about this. Also, dinner could be more varied with European dishes.

The location, staff, and restaurants are good. The Wi‑Fi is unusable for everyday apps.

Everything was great. Special thanks to Bertha at the front desk for helping book nearby attractions.
