“Bonito lugar”

The facilities and location were great; our kids loved the garden, trampoline, and even the pool, even though it wasn’t very hot. It’s an ideal base for visiting Adršpašské skály, and the free parking was very convenient. We stayed on the first floor, accessed by a very narrow staircase, had to leave our shoes downstairs and walk barefoot… a bit uncomfortable.

The location is good, close to the entrance of the Teplice Rocks and easily walkable. Free parking is available. The breakfast is delicious, and there’s a shared fridge in the hallway for guests to store their own food. The mattresses are quite firm, and the windows face the road and the railway. Trains don’t run at night, but a passing car can wake you if the windows aren’t fully closed, which is to be expected for a hotel in this spot.

Nothing special, just standard. Breakfast was well prepared and varied, but the cramped spaces were hard to reach, and the shower unexpectedly switched between hot and cold water, risking scalding.

The guesthouse has a lovely private parking lot off the main road, and you cross a small bridge over the Metují River to reach the property. Surrounded by woods, the place is beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the river and a large manicured garden that includes seating, a pool, a fire pit, and many other activities. At the entrance a friendly host welcomed us and spent about half an hour answering our questions about day trips and local dining options. There is a coat‑room just beyond the doors, which surprised me because it’s not common, but it’s actually very convenient. Carpets cover every floor and everything is impeccably clean. Our room is on the first floor, well equipped with everything we need, a tidy bathroom, a small kitchen corner, and a library on the hallway. We slept very luxuriously; it was dark outside, so we didn’t need the blinds, and the silence was perfect. It was almost full, yet we didn’t hear any neighbors through the walls. We didn’t use the hot outdoor bath or infrared sauna, but they’re available for a fee. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh, hot, cold, sweet, and salty items; the host promptly refilled anything that ran out and always greeted us with a smile, which is a rare kindness these days. The surrounding nature and especially the rock formations are stunning—something you have to experience. Highly recommended.
