We stayed at Grand Erken Hotel in September 2026 and liked everything. Any requests we made were fulfilled immediately. The TV stopped working, so we bought and hung a new one; the hair dryer was missing, so we bought a new one too. Cleaning was done right away on request. We lacked hangers for dresses, so they brought new ones and extra hooks. Beach towels were allowed to dry on the hotel dryer. The staff were very friendly, treating us like family, and a special thanks to Ahmed. The restaurant food was great, but it was consistently expensive for us. In the courtyard there were a couple of tables where we could eat our own purchased food, but other guests sat and smoked there, so we didn’t have a single spot to sit, drink wine, and eat our own meals. Otherwise everything was within walking distance: grocery stores, cafeteria, bus stops, cafés, restaurants, attractions… Crossing the street from the Adrian gate and walking a bit straight, past Migros and the Bear bar, there’s a great cafeteria where you can eat on a budget. The Marmerli beach costs 800 lira, very beautiful and atmospheric. We were there a couple of times. We also went to Konyaaltı’s free beach by bus NT 0008, if I remember correctly (the schedule is in GPT), the stop is near the Adrian gate, it circles the city and takes about 20‑25 minutes to the beach (final stop). At Ziraat Bank you can withdraw from a card, Rosselkhoz, Union Pay, but mostly they exchanged new dollars at the exchange office. A greeting and thanks to all hotel staff.
