“Glow”
The new rooms look nice. First, we were in a fire and lost everything. The first room we got was 330, which had one bed and we asked for two. The second room, 203, had power outages; we woke up in the middle of the night with no electricity. The third room, 207, was fine, but they told us we had to check out because the hotel was closing due to electrical problems, so we moved across the street to DeSoto Hotel. We watched from the window as they were still checking in and out people; I don’t know why they lied. I even went the next day to see what they were doing; the lady at the desk said yes and that they never close, and we still haven’t received a refund for one night. On top of that, the reception staff in the morning showed no compassion or remorse and had a bad attitude, while the night manager was okay and the food was great; the cook did an excellent job.
