Good location and plenty of parking, clean and comfortable accommodation, a good breakfast choice and food available throughout the day and evening, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, with no negatives.

I couldn’t fault the place, staff, facilities, or food—all were excellent, and access to the river walk at the back of the site was a bonus; just be aware the location is on the main road and rooms are linked to the pub, so it won’t be 100% quiet but it didn’t detract from our stay.

We stayed at a nice pub and hotel in a good location. The room was lovely and spotless, except the toilet had been missed and still had residue of someone’s poo at the bottom and around the sides, which was a shame because otherwise we would have given it full marks. A small outdoor sitting area let me read my book in the morning while my husband slept, which was a great touch, and the pub food was delicious. Overall it was great and we would stay again. Poo in the loo 😧

Very comfortable stay. We were there with 3 other couples for 4 nights over a long weekend for family wedding in the area. Lovely pub and restaurant - excellent breakfast and dining. Overall great value
