“A comfortable and chilled mini break”

A perfect spot with everything nearby; the place feels like a cozy hideaway and the hosts are genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was a nice touch, well‑made and tasty. The mattress was a bit too soft and bouncy for my taste, but that’s just a personal preference.

The Steam Packet sits right on Littlehampton’s edge, overlooking the river and just a stone’s throw from the train station. The room had everything we needed for our two‑day stay, even fresh milk handed over by owner Mark when we arrived. We enjoyed scrambled eggs at breakfast, cooked fresh for us and served in a lovely bar area, and the other guests seemed to like their breakfasts too. Everything else was fine.

The hosts were very friendly and always checked in to see if we were okay. Breakfast was good, and the location was great because the rail station is just across the road, making it easy to drive free to other South Coast resorts and cities. It was a quiet spot. The room was a bit compact, but it had useful amenities like a kitchen, fridge, microwave, conventional oven & hob, kettle, and toaster.

“A very pleasant week just a few hundred metres from the town and beaches of Littlehampton.”

Breakfast was excellent—good choices and cooked to order. The hosts did everything to make sure I had what I wanted. I personally found the bed too soft, but I’m sure others would love it. It didn’t stop me from sleeping!

The view and the location for public transport were good. There was nothing to dislike.
