The host was very friendly, everything was very clean, and everything fit together nicely, with no complaints.
The hotel is right in the centre and the room turned out to be surprisingly large. I could usually find a spot at the Hauptplatz car park, which was a big convenience. The only downside was the lack of an elevator – climbing the stairs in that old building was a hassle.

We liked the solid breakfast and the prime location, and the room was both roomy and freshly renovated. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to meet our requests, and the price felt right for what was offered. Unfortunately, smoke tended to drift down the corridors into the rooms, and the mattress was either too firm or already sagging, making sleep a bit uncomfortable.

It’s just an old village tavern, which is fine; the staff is very helpful, the room was neat and quiet, and the breakfast was very good and plentiful, though some things still need renovation and are being fixed.

The price was rock‑bottom and there was on‑site parking, which made it easy to get around. I chose this place mainly to see the Maier Helmbrecht performance at Schloss Sprinzenstein, just a 12‑minute drive away. The castle surroundings were gorgeous, and the show, with 70‑100 participants, blew my mind – an evening I’ll remember for a long time.
