The property is in a nice secluded spot, very calm, and the spa is nice but not as large as you might expect. It’s a great place and I would highly recommend it, but you have to pay extra for a few things.

We had a lovely room that was clean and fresh-looking. The bathroom was good, clean, and the shower was powerful. There were plenty of sockets and a good dressing table to sit and get ready. The town centre was a short walk away, and the grounds were pretty with well-maintained gardens. There was plenty of space to park. No complaints at all; we didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on the food.

The menu selection was good and the buffet was well stocked. The staff were very friendly. The food was well cooked, hot when it arrived, and the portion sizes were good. I would have liked the tea and coffee to be replenished automatically in the room each day; we had to ask at reception. They were always accommodating, but it would have been nice to have them there.

Nothing; they are heartless people wrapped up in their corporate world. Management and corporate staff have no feeling or empathy for the local people who, for the greater good, give up their time to make Llangollen great. All these people want is your money, and more of your money… relentless money seekers.

The room was good, the location was good, it was nice and clean. The food was not good value for money; I paid for spar.
